Just finished reading: Sherlock Holmes and the Servants of Hell, a Holmes/Hellraiser crossover.
I'm now currently Ollie's Journey, a weird story about toys.
The Consultant by Bentley Little. A good old Bentley Little Horror/satire.
For those of you who don't know yet, I've finally written this story:

Since there's been a bit more activity lately in regard to the Powerpuff Girls cartoon, I'd like to share some insight about the last seasons of the original show. I posted the following in response to a youtube reviewer who predicted that the PPG reboot wouldn't be very good, but my response is mostly in light of his opinion that the show went downhill after Craig McCracken left:

I've heard the voices of the ppg on the new show, and they don't sound like themselves. But I disagree with you on most of the later episodes of the original; the RRB return certainly had satire in in it, because the Girls defeated the Boys by attacking their gender-based insecurities. The episode Girls Gone Mild was an attack on censorship. The episode (can't think of the name) about the Gangreen gang and Sedusa was almost totally a dark action episode but it was very well thought-out, and certainly wasn't just violence. The other RRB episodes weren't that great, but they had some satire in them as well. I thought the Nanobot episode was great action show, and it did have a message, about technology raging out of control, which you also can find in many science fiction movies. Craig may have been gone, but the show's standards remained near the top.

Now, as far as the aforementioned reboot, I've never actually seen more than a few clips. I noticed that Him and Mojo, at least look like themselves. The puffs voices I didn't care for, as I said. If Craig and original voices were back, I would have more confidence in it, indeed. The animation I don't care too much for either: a bit too much like Regular Show. Anyone else actually seen it? How well does it stand up to what preceded it?

These are recent fan arts I have done for the Buford Files fic Swamp Phantom, done years ago:

and for a Powerpunk Girls fanfic I have not written yet, but will soon, time briefly permitting, a sequal to Deja Two, which I wrote about four years back:

I had to go by two names on fanfiction.net, Gerneration Xer and Gen Xer. Had have a Buford site, now abandoned, but still out there, and a PPG site that's long gone, just like most of PPG fandom. I have other fics about classic HB toons and PPG, on Hanna Barebra Fanfiction, and other sites. I jsut haven't had time to write or draw in a LONG time. I once wrote an editorial about the Rowdyruff Boys called Jarjar Binks in Reverse, LONG ago, back when i discovered PPG/RRB fandom.

I often wonder if Sniper, King Moonraiser, and Chris Cook are still around these days, now the PPG/RRB fandom is gone.
I'm now currently Ollie's Journey, a weird story about toys.

What dinosaur species would you have if you adapted Arthur Conan Doyle's The Lost World?

I'd include a few more like tricertaops, hadrosaurs, and maybe some dwarf sauropods, and the fictional ceratopsian augathamas.  I did just that in the pastiche I wrote.

Well I mix the species from the novel, 1925 film, and the 2001 BBC film.
I would have: Iguanodon, Edmontosaurus(In place of Trachodon), Hypsilophodon, Apatosaurus/Brontosaurus, Diplodocus, Brachiosaurus, Stegosaurus, Triceratops, Styracosaurus (In place of Agamathus), Tyrannosaurus Rex(Attacks Camp), Allosaurus, Ceratosaurus, Megalosaurus(Main villain dinosaur) Pterodactylus, Pteranodon, Dimorphodon, Plesiosaurus, Icthyosaurus, Glyptodon, Toxodon, Megaloceros, Smilodon, Entelodon, Phorosrhacos, Dryopithecus and Homo Erectus(In place of Pithecanthropus or Java Man).

That's quite a few. Isn't pithacantropus/Java Man the same as Homo Erectus?

Thanks for the comments--but one of my drawings was mysteriously rejected by the Powrpunkfanclub.
